ASG is mainly involved in the analysis of fuels of all kinds. From the beginning, the focus has been on fossil and renewable fuels. In addition to standard and special analysis for liquid, solid, and gaseous fuels, the company’s range of services also includes the production of test fuels and quality assurance materials, the performance of REACH-relevant tests, and the construction of analytical equipment.

Important competencies Preparatory work and infrastructure

Various analytical devices and methods are available (e.g., GC, GC-MS, ICP, voltammetry, XRF, etc.). This enables the complete characterization of complex substance mixtures, including existing trace components. In addition, ASG carries out all analytical procedures specified in the current standards for kerosene, diesel, biodiesel, petrol, and other matrices. These include parameters such as cetane number, density, kinematic viscosity, acid number, sulfur content, flash point, freezing point, thermal stability, smoke point, evaporation residue, electrical conductivity, boiling behavior, lubricity, water content, traces of metals and halogens.
